security and fan experiences in Paris
With the final taking place in Budapest, the focus in Paris will be on creating a vibrant atmosphere while maintaining public safety. The RATP has announced that several metro stations will be closed on match day to streamline crowd control. Despite these precautions, supporters will still have opportunities to celebrate.
The Parc des Princes will host an official fan zone, offering a communal space for Parisians to gather and cheer on their team. However, unlike last season’s triumphant parade, no victory procession along the Champs-Élysées is planned, as announced by the Paris police prefecture. This decision aims to prioritize security and efficient crowd management.
Local authorities have also confirmed that Emmanuel Grégoire, a vocal PSG fan, will not proceed with the previously suggested fan-zone installation plans due to logistical constraints. The city remains committed to ensuring a safe yet spirited environment for the city’s residents and visitors.
