Algerian prime minister meets Niger’s president in Niamey

Niamey — Algeria’s Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb concluded an official visit to Niger on Wednesday, where he was received by the country’s President, General Abdourahamane Tiani.

The meeting centered on strengthening fraternal ties and deepening cooperation between the two neighboring nations, with a focus on advancing shared initiatives and reinforcing solidarity in key sectors.

During the audience, Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb conveyed the warm greetings of Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasizing Algeria’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and fostering mutual development.

Both leaders reviewed the progress of existing cooperation frameworks, including outcomes from President Tiani’s February visit to Algeria and the implementation of agreements reached during the second session of the Algerian-Nigerien Grand Mixed Commission held in Niamey last March.
