Unrest escalates beyond the stadium

Later, confrontations spread to the heart of the avenue, where protesters damaged a bus shelter and clashed with police. Reports also indicated sporadic mortar fire in the vicinity of avenue Kléber in the 16th arrondissement, while groups in the 18th district were observed moving through the streets, masked and armed with iron bars—though no immediate acts of vandalism were confirmed.

10 held as authorities tally enforcement actions
By 7:30 PM, police had conducted 1,579 checks, issuing 64 fines, while 20 individuals were detained. Ten of those were placed in custody, along with the seizure of 24 torches and two mortars.
