The shake-up extended beyond the port authority. Babo Amadou Ba, who served as both the national coordinator of Pastef cadres (Moncap) and director-general of the Fonds de financement de la formation professionnelle et technique (3FPT), was also removed from his post. Soulèye Kane has been appointed to take his place, signaling a shift in leadership priorities.

In the education and vocational training sector, Lamine Barra Lô, a prominent Pastef figure in Touba, was dismissed from his role as director-general of the Office national de la formation professionnelle (ONFP). Mame Awa Ndoye will step into his position, bringing a new vision to the agency.

Further consolidating control over state institutions, Karamba Diallo has been named director-general of the SEN-Pharmacie nationale d’approvisionnement. His appointment follows the removal of Seydou Diallo, a staunch Sonko ally and Pastef representative in Keur Massar.
