A recent assembly culminated in the election of a new Board of Directors and an Executive Bureau for AMEPA. These bodies comprise 27 and 12 members respectively, ensuring comprehensive representation from all stakeholders within the water sector, encompassing both public and private entities.
Concurrently, an extraordinary general assembly convened to review and approve the Association’s moral and financial reports. During this session, members also passed a resolution to amend AMEPA’s statutes. This strategic modification aims to align the organization’s operational framework with the dynamic evolution of Morocco’s water sector and to invigorate its initiatives, particularly concerning industrial sovereignty.

Established in 1997, AMEPA currently unites over 95 active members. Its diverse membership includes public and private operators, regional multi-service companies (SRMs), concessionaires, as well as industrial firms and engineering and construction companies specializing in potable water and sanitation.
With this newly implemented governance structure, the Association aims to cultivate a more integrated and collaborative ecosystem. This initiative seeks to elevate Moroccan industry, engineering, and expertise in the critical water domain to an exemplary standard, achieving excellence not only nationally but also across the continent and on the international stage.
