The government of Cameroon has finally broken its silence regarding the prolonged absence of President Paul Biya, who has been outside the country for 56 days. René Emmanuel Sadi, the Minister of Communication and official government spokesperson, announced in an exclusive interview that President Biya’s return to Cameroon is imminent. He firmly dismissed reports suggesting the head of state was ill or hospitalized in a Geneva clinic, emphatically stating that these claims are unfounded.
