Forum du justiciable expresses strong disapproval over linking Ousmane Sonko to Ndiaga Seck affair
Babacar Ba, who presides over the Forum du Justiciable, has vociferously defended Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko against any attempts to connect him with the arrest of Ndiaga Seck. Ba characterizes these suggestions as malicious and harmful, raising pertinent questions about ethical standards in the handling of judicial matters across Senegal.

The president of the Forum du Justiciable, Babacar Ba, has unequivocally condemned any efforts aimed at establishing a link between Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko and the ongoing case involving Ndiaga Seck, who was apprehended on suspicion of acts against nature.
Babacar Ba asserted that Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, in his capacity as the head of government, fundamentally represents the institutional integrity of the state. He declared that any maneuver designed to “tarnish his reputation” or “cast discredit upon his person” is entirely unacceptable. The president of the Forum du Justiciable firmly believes that the arrest of Ndiaga Seck should not serve as a pretext for any attempt to associate the Prime Minister with the incident in an effort to undermine his credibility.
Furthermore, Babacar Ba underscored that such tactics, in his view, directly contravene the foundational principles of the rule of law and must not be condoned. His strong reaction emerges amidst a climate where the Ndiaga Seck case continues to generate significant public debate and diverse viewpoints.
