“Praise be to God. May peace and blessings be upon the Prophet, His family, and companions.
Dear people,
With immense pride and deep satisfaction, We commemorate today the 27th anniversary of Our accession to the throne. For 27 years, divine will has entrusted Us with guiding the nation’s destiny—a noble mission and a profound responsibility.
Echoing the Almighty’s words: *If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor],* We give thanks for His guidance in steering Our efforts toward fulfilling your aspirations and addressing your concerns.
Never have personal glory or the pursuit of continental leadership been Our goals. Instead, Our sole purpose has been to serve you with dedication, ensuring all Moroccans live with dignity as free citizens.
Today, reviewing Our shared achievements fills Us with honor and pride, while instilling confidence in the future.
Rather than mere personal satisfaction, these milestones inspire a sense of reassurance and serenity that strengthens Our resolve to press forward.
Our progress stems from a clear strategic vision and a governance doctrine rooted in initiative, rigorous execution, constructive self-criticism, and forward-looking determination.
Dear people,
Morocco stands at a pivotal juncture in its development trajectory, where a spirit of confidence and optimism must prevail over rhetoric that breeds despair or frustration.
Most gratifying is the stability and security that define Morocco today, alongside the efficient functioning of its public institutions. In a region plagued by turmoil and global tensions, political and institutional stability is a rare and invaluable asset.
Stability is Morocco’s key development driver—a strategic capital that defines the nation’s pride.
Dear people,
A nation with millennia of history, Morocco draws strength from its ancestral traditions of a unified state where institutions operate in harmony. This cohesion enables sustained progress despite challenges, as demonstrated by the flawless organization of international events—garnering global admiration, though not without envy on occasion.
Moreover, Morocco has showcased remarkable resilience, notably in its proactive flood management in the Gharb and northern regions.
Underpinned by stability, security, and institutional efficacy, positive indicators are multiplying across sectors, reinforcing economic emergence and safeguarding national sovereignty.
In 2025, growth reached 4.9%, with projections exceeding this benchmark in 2026. Agriculture thrived thanks to abundant rainfall, securing water and food supplies.
Sectors like automotive, aeronautics, renewable energy, and agri-food now form the backbone of Morocco’s productive fabric, attracting investment and generating wealth and employment. Morocco has become Africa’s top auto exporter, with an annual production capacity of nearly one million vehicles. Automotive and aeronautics now account for over 40% of total exports, surpassing phosphate revenues.
Earlier this year, We presided over the launch of new industrial units, positioning Morocco among elite nations specializing in aircraft engines and landing systems.
Aiming to diversify energy sources, Morocco is advancing renewable projects to bolster energy security and attract industries seeking competitive, low-carbon power. The operational rollout of the *Green Hydrogen Morocco Offer* has begun, with permits granted for megaprojects.
Dear people,
In a global landscape marked by protectionism and supply chain securitization, Morocco has prioritized strengthening national sovereignty and strategic self-reliance. This is evident in agri-food and pharmaceutical industries, now meeting 80% of domestic demand.
The establishment of an industrial and technological defense and cybersecurity base will gradually consolidate defense sovereignty while creating development opportunities, reinforcing Morocco’s regional leadership in these fields.
Alongside economic growth, We continue advancing human development initiatives, particularly through the expansion of social protection, to improve living standards and achieve social and spatial justice.
Efficient implementation of integrated territorial development programs is essential, ensuring all regions benefit without exception. Achieving this requires unprecedented financial mobilization, primarily from domestic sources.
Thus, We call on the national financial sector to support investment and major projects while broadening access to financing—both traditional and innovative—for SMEs, innovation, industrialization, and exports. The sector must also optimize national savings mobilization, including institutional funds, and revitalize financial markets to accelerate Morocco’s emerging economy.
Dear people,
With divine grace, Morocco has solidified its position as a credible, respected international actor. The Kingdom now stands as a leading economic player and a sought-after partner for balanced, future-oriented collaborations.
This status allows Morocco to engage confidently with partners, advancing constructive bilateral initiatives and global cooperation frameworks.
Through diversified partnerships, the nation has strengthened its capabilities and expanded its influence across all domains.
Dear people,
These economic and social gains transcend government mandates, emerging from a cumulative, decade-long virtuous cycle driven by strategic foresight and sound decisions.
Following the next legislative elections and the formation of a new government, We hope for a new development cycle prioritizing the preservation of achievements and the continuation of major reforms.
Dear people,
On this Glorious Throne Day, We reaffirm Our pride in the Royal Armed Forces, Royal Gendarmerie, territorial administration, national security, auxiliary forces, and civil protection—for their unwavering commitment, under Our leadership, to defending national unity and preserving the country’s security and stability.
We pay tribute to the nation’s fallen heroes, foremost among them Our revered grandfather, the late King Mohammed V, and Our esteemed father, the late King Hassan II, may God have mercy on them.
In closing, We invoke the verse: *God does not wrong the righteous.*
Wassalamou alaikoum wa rahmatoullah wa barakatouh.”
