RC Lens supporters made their dissatisfaction clear during Wednesday’s match against pSG, unveiling a banner accusing club president Nasser al-Khelaïfi of undermining French football’s top tier.

Fans of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais club expressed their anger through a provocative message displayed in the stadium, reading “Nasser kills Ligue 1”. The protest came after pSG requested a postponement of the fixture to focus on their Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool.

The timing couldn’t have been more symbolic. A victory for pSG in Lens would seal their Ligue 1 title, further fueling local resentment. Supporters argue that the Parisian club’s actions prioritize European campaigns over domestic league integrity.
