The Senegalese U17 national team secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Tunisia in a recent friendly match, marking another step forward in their preparations for the upcoming 2026 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) U17. The decisive goal came from forward Cheikh Omar Sy, who capitalized on a crucial moment to seal the victory.

The match took place at the Hammam Lif Municipal Stadium under the guidance of head coach Lamine Sané. Following this result, the team will now travel to Morocco to continue their training camp before their tournament debut.
