African Union commissioner praises Morocco’s industrial progress under King Mohammed VI

Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, the African Union (AU) commissioner for economic development, tourism, trade, industry and mines, praised Morocco’s achievements under King Mohammed VI’s leadership during a visit to Rabat on Monday.

After meeting with Morocco’s minister of foreign affairs, African cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita, Ms Tatchouop Belobe highlighted the country’s remarkable industrial growth in recent years. She noted that Morocco now holds a leading position in Africa’s automotive and aerospace sectors.

Ms Tatchouop Belobe also commended Morocco for sharing its expertise with other African nations, particularly through the development of a critical minerals value chain.

The AU official took the opportunity to express gratitude to King Mohammed VI for his unwavering support to the African Union Commission.
