Arsène Kouassi set to depart Lorient amid strong European interest

Talented Burkinabè left-back Arsène Kouassi is on the verge of leaving Lorient, having impressed with 2 goals and 8 assists in 31 appearances. The highly-sought-after defender is reportedly heading to Bournemouth, a club sharing ownership with Lorient, though numerous other prominent European teams are also vying for his signature.

Over the past month, several major European outfits, including German giants Bayer Leverkusen, VfB Stuttgart, and Eintracht Frankfurt, alongside Italian clubs Genoa and AS Roma, have initiated contact with Lorient, seeking details regarding a potential move for Kouassi.

The Stallion’s career path could mirror that of his fellow countryman, Dango Ouattara. Should a transfer materialize, the Burkinabè international is expected to join the Cherries, potentially filling the void left by a departing Truffer at Bournemouth.

Barring any unforeseen last-minute developments, Arsène Kouassi’s tenure with Lorient appears to be drawing to a close, with his return to the club next season looking highly improbable. His current market valuation stands at an estimated 15 million euros.
