The Burkinabè delegation landed in Astana, Kazakhstan, on August 2, 2026, to take part in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2026—a global contest showcasing the brightest young minds in AI.
After months of rigorous national selections and intensive training sessions focused on machine learning, two standout students, Pascaline Lompo and Madina Toé, will represent Burkina Faso at this prestigious event. They are led by Ariel Shadrac Ouédraogo, their dedicated Team Leader.
