For years, the Chantal Biya International Mountain Bike (MTB) Race was known primarily as a sporting event. Named after the wife of president Paul Biya, the race is now taking a strategic turn. With its third edition scheduled for 29 June 2026 in Bertoua, the capital of Cameroon’s East region, the event aims to position itself as a tool for territorial economic attractiveness.
