Camrail says $1.25 billion injected into Cameroon economy over 27 years

Since 1999, the cumulative contribution of Camrail to the Cameroonian economy has reached 750 billion CFA francs, equivalent to approximately $1.25 billion. The announcement was made by Pierre Ngon, managing director of the Cameroon railway concessionaire, during a press dinner held on June 22, 2026, in Douala.
