Cardinal Parolin urges faith and civic duty as keys to social renewal in Rabat

Speaking on Tuesday 23 June in Rabat as a new honorary member of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Secretary of State highlighted the convergence of views between the Holy See and the African country, and urged against viewing fraternity through a “purely utilitarian lens,” moving from “tolerance” of the neighbour with whom one shares a space of rights to genuine welcome.
