During a press briefing held at the Sabangali headquarters in N’Djaména’s third district on May 23, Emmanuel Nadingar, President of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chadian chapter, addressed pressing concerns about global conflicts and the nation’s socio-political climate.
Nadingar’s intervention highlighted the growing polarization fueled by violent conflicts over vital resources worldwide. He noted how these crises often drive communities to retreat into themselves, deepening divisions rather than fostering collaboration.
Turning to Chad’s internal situation, he observed that «significant developments have unfolded» without elaborating further, emphasizing the need for collective reflection on the country’s evolving landscape.
To counter these challenges, Nadingar issued a strong plea to all Chadians: reject communalism, isolationism, and acts of aggression. Instead, he advocated for a culture of active listening and genuine dialogue as the cornerstone of peacebuilding.
«Only through unity can we muster the strength to tackle the obstacles before us,» he asserted. The Universal Peace Federation, an international NGO established in 2005 and active across over 190 countries, stands behind his call for solidarity and constructive engagement.
