Laborex Tchad, a prominent subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, recently commemorated its thirtieth anniversary as a leading force in pharmaceutical distribution across Chad. A heartfelt ceremony on Thursday, May 28, celebrated the remarkable journey of an enterprise that has become indispensable in providing essential medicines and medical devices throughout the nation.
Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has consistently supported the country’s health system for three decades. The company ensures the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and various health centers in key locations such as N’Djamena, Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, and Bongor, as well as numerous other towns.
The celebratory event featured insightful addresses from Ms. Ngarmbatina Sou IV, the Chair of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Zone Director for the CFAO Healthcare group.
During her speech, Ms. Ngarmbatina began by acknowledging the Chadian authorities for their crucial support during Laborex Tchad’s foundation and subsequent expansion. She extended her sincere appreciation to financial partners, pharmacists, pharmaceutical depots, hospital facilities, and all clients who have placed their trust in the company.
“You have chosen Laborex Tchad not merely out of habit, but based on unwavering trust. Our commitment is professionalism: ensuring the correct medication reaches the right location, precisely when needed, for every patient across the national territory,” she emphasized.
Visibly moved by the occasion, she further stated, “Thirty years is a significant milestone. We look forward to at least 70 more years of service ahead.”

Mr. Sébastien Roux, for his part, reflected on his 24-year career within the CFAO group, commending Laborex Tchad as a remarkable human endeavor. He paid tribute to previous leaders, specifically mentioning Ms. Maria Mion Calvet, and applauded the current momentum driven by the General Director, Ms. Tignocqua.
“Laborex stands as a company with a rich history, yet simultaneously maintains its youthful dynamism through the collective efforts of all its human resources,” he affirmed.
He also extended gratitude to the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, to the partnering laboratories and banking institutions, and to the entire staff for their unwavering daily dedication.
“It is thanks to each and every one of you that we successfully ensure a consistent and reliable supply of pharmaceutical products throughout the country,” he declared.
The ceremony concluded on a high note, filled with festive energy and the captivating rhythms of the balafon, a traditional instrument that left a lasting impression on all attendees.
