On the afternoon of Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Baga-Sola, young individuals, united through the Coordination of Lake Youth Associations (CADELAC), extended vital support to the Forces of Defense and Security (FDS), who are actively engaged in the critical fight against Boko Haram.
Speaking before local officials, coordinator Mahamat Adam Moustapha first conveyed his deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the recent devastating assaults in Barka Tollorom. He then commended “the immense sacrifices undertaken by the FDS to safeguard peace” and reaffirmed the youth’s steadfast commitment to promoting civic vigilance and widespread community engagement.
In a humble yet profoundly meaningful act, CADELAC presented a donation comprising five 50 kg bags of rice and ten cartons of pasta. This gesture, as highlighted by the coordinator, underscores the unwavering determination of a resilient youth population to bolster the efforts of forces dedicated to upholding security throughout the Lac province.
