Tchad : opération de sécurité dans le 10ᵉ arrondissement de N’Djamena, 347 interpellations
A comprehensive joint security operation in N’Djamena resulted in the apprehension of 447 individuals and the seizure of various illicit items. Public Security Minister Ali Ahmat Aghabache praised the commitment of the security forces.
A significant, multi-agency security sweep, involving thorough checks and searches, was recently executed across the 10th district of N’Djamena. This extensive operation brought together personnel from the National Gendarmerie, National Police, GNNT, and various other specialized departments. The entire initiative was meticulously supervised by Police Controller General Tougoud Digo Maïdé and Divisional General Djiddo Mahamat Haggar, with Public Security Minister Ali Ahmat Aghabache also present to observe the proceedings.
The outcome of this focused security drive included the confiscation of several unauthorized weapons and a number of vehicles operating without proper registration. Furthermore, authorities apprehended 165 foreign nationals found to be residing without valid documentation, alongside 282 Chadian citizens who were unable to present identification papers. Minister Aghabache conveyed his appreciation for the professionalism and dedication exhibited by all participating security forces throughout the operation, underscoring Chad’s commitment to public safety and order.
