This statement continues a tradition upheld by the leader of the Mouvement pour la renaissance du Cameroun (MRC) for over a year, where he shares a fundamental thought every Monday, offering insights into the nation’s direction.

“We are faced with a stark choice,” Maurice Kamto declared, “between extinguishing our future through perpetual submission, or rising with every remaining fiber of our being – the last standing leg, the sole moving arm, the one open eye that refuses to close, for it discerns a future where others perceive only void. I remain steadfast in my conviction that reason will prevail. Despite the tumultuous upheavals, the primitive herd instincts, the irrationality, and the hatred, it is the illuminating light of conscience that guides the progress of nations. This inherent strength will ultimately save Cameroon and uplift the entire African continent.”
