Moroccan foreign minister Nasser Bourita welcomed Gambian foreign minister Sering Modou Njie in Rabat on Thursday. Njie, who also serves as special envoy for president Adama Barrow, delivered a written message addressed to King Mohammed VI.
Following the talks, Njie commended the strong ties between Morocco and Gambia, highlighting a relationship built on friendship, fraternity, and close cooperation between Rabat and Banjul.
The Gambian diplomat also underlined the quality of the partnership between both nations. He described the bilateral relations as grounded in shared interests and a mutual commitment to further advancing this positive momentum.
Njie reaffirmed Gambia’s determination to deepen bilateral cooperation across various fields of common interest.
