On Friday, August 28, 2026, in Rabat, Morocco and Jordan formally entered into an extradition agreement. This significant pact aims to bolster their judicial collaboration and fortify its underlying legal and institutional frameworks.

Moroccan Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, and his Jordanian counterpart, Bassam Samir Al-Talhouni, affixed their signatures to the document. This occurred subsequent to extensive discussions focused on advancing judicial cooperation between the two nations.

A framework for transferring wanted or convicted individuals
