The Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Colombia have renewed their dedication to deepening cooperation between the United Nations Peacebuilding Commission and the Security Council, placing peace at the forefront of global priorities.
During a courtesy visit in New York on June 3, Omar Hilale, Morocco’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and current Chair of the Peacebuilding Commission, welcomed Leonor Zalabata Torres, Colombia’s Ambassador to the UN and presiding officer of the Security Council for June 2026.
