The Canaris, now relegated to Ligue 2, have also been handed a penalty of one match behind closed doors.
The decision, made on May 27, validates the scoreline recorded at the time the game was halted. “After reviewing the investigation report, the committee has decided to officially confirm the score recorded on the field at the time of the definitive interruption of the match (0-0),” stated the LFP in an official statement. “Additionally, the committee has imposed the following sanctions: one match behind closed doors at the Stade de la Beaujoire, followed by the closure of the Loire Tribune for two further matches.“

The match referee, Stéphanie Frappart, then announced the definitive interruption of the game “on the prefect’s decision for safety reasons.”
