On June 24, 2026, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Craftsmanship of Cameroon (CCIMA) brought together private sector representatives to develop proposals for the 2027 budget law.

This consultation aims to gather, analyze and harmonize the concerns of business operators before upcoming discussions with the General Tax Directorate. Key topics included enhancing the national tax framework, boosting business competitiveness and improving the business environment. The working sessions produced around twenty concrete proposals.

The initiative reflects a commitment to strengthening public-private dialogue and creating a tax system better aligned with Cameroon’s economic realities.
