With the summer transfer window officially open, Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for a potentially busy period. One name frequently linked to the Parisian squad is Yan Diomandé. The 19-year-old Ivorian winger, currently playing for RB Leipzig and representing Côte d’Ivoire at the World Cup, has become a hot commodity on the market. However, PSG now has reason to worry about landing him.

Diomandé and Liverpool, heating up?
For PSG, the main threat in the Yan Diomandé case comes from Liverpool. The Reds are preparing for life without Mohamed Salah and view the RB Leipzig winger as a potential replacement. According to my sources, the English club has informed their German counterparts of an intent to pay €100 million for Diomandé. Liverpool currently holds the advantage, but PSG remains in the race, still keen on the player who is currently active at the World Cup.
RB Leipzig determined to keep their star
Regarding Liverpool and Yan Diomandé, the situation is evolving. I have learned that Liverpool has already submitted a formal offer of €90 million plus €10 million in bonuses for the Ivorian. However, RB Leipzig is expected to reject this bid, as the club has no intention of selling Diomandé to either Liverpool or PSG. Instead, the German side wants to keep him, with plans to extend his contract and increase his salary.
