Sawti

The innovative digital platform Sawti, found at www.sawti.info, is transforming how Moroccan political information is accessed. It aims to make complex political topics clearer and more understandable for all citizens, whether they reside within Morocco or abroad.

Sawti operates as a non-profit initiative, spearheaded by two dynamic Moroccan entrepreneurs, Ismaïl Lahlou and Yassine Lahlou Kamal. Their vision is to enhance access to credible political insights and foster broader civic engagement across the nation.

Designed to cater to a diverse audience, the platform stands out for its extensive linguistic support. Sawti is currently available in nine languages: Darija, Arabic, French, English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and German, with plans to soon incorporate Tamazight. Its user-friendly interface ensures effortless navigation through the content provided.

Recognizing the intricate nature of political discourse, Sawti offers educational resources crafted to simplify the understanding of institutional functions, electoral processes, and national political trends.

Among its key features, the platform enables users to quickly verify their registration status on electoral lists or complete online registration. With the registration deadline set for June 13, Sawti provides a streamlined pathway for individuals to confirm their eligibility and register promptly.

Furthermore, Sawti includes dedicated information for Moroccans residing abroad, detailing the procedures for participating in elections from international locations. Looking ahead, the platform will introduce an interactive quiz, allowing users to explore their political leanings based on their values and perspectives on major societal issues.

Accessible online via www.sawti.info, Sawti represents a significant step towards modernizing access to information and reinforcing citizen participation throughout Morocco.
