After his departure from AS Monaco, Senegalese international winger Krépin Diatta has become one of Europe’s most sought-after free agents this summer. At 27, the player is determined to revive his career in the Premier League, with Crystal Palace already showing strong interest in securing his signature.
The London club views Diatta as an ideal fit for the demands of English football, particularly his blistering pace, dribbling ability, and tactical versatility. Capable of excelling on either flank or even as a central attacking midfielder, the Senegalese winger could provide an immediate offensive boost to the Eagles’ lineup.

Meanwhile, Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have also entered the race, engaging in negotiations with Diatta’s representatives to assess the possibility of a transfer. The German side’s pursuit adds another dimension to the competition, positioning the Senegalese winger as one of the most attractive free-agent prospects on the market.
Despite receiving financially lucrative offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia, Diatta has reportedly prioritized a return to competitive European football. His decision reflects a clear preference for sporting ambition over short-term financial gains, especially after a challenging period at AS Monaco.
Diatta arrived in Monaco in January 2021 for around €20 million but struggled to regain his form following a severe knee injury—including a torn ACL—that sidelined him for an extended period. While he gradually returned to action, he never fully reclaimed a consistent starting spot, often featuring as a substitute during his final season with the club.
