Significant transfer confirmed for psg striker

Even as the World Cup captivates global audiences, the parallel universe of football transfers is officially buzzing with activity. This dynamic period includes even those players participating in the international tournament. A prime example is Gonçalo Ramos, the forward for Paris Saint-Germain, whose future is now contractually secured, with only the final signature remaining.

Indeed, the European champions of 2025 and 2026 have successfully reached an agreement with AC Milan. This confirmation comes from Fabrice Hawkins this Saturday, following initial revelations by The Athletic. Hawkins stated, “Gonçalo Ramos will depart PSG and is set to sign with AC Milan. The clubs have just finalized an agreement for an operation valued at 70 million euros, inclusive of bonuses.”

A historic transfer: psg’s second biggest sale

Gonçalo Ramos, the 25-year-old Portuguese striker, initially arrived in Paris in August 2023 from Benfica. This move began as a paid loan of 20 million euros, eventually converting into a definitive transfer costing approximately 65 million euros. His impending transfer to the Rossoneri will now establish him as the most expensive acquisition in AC Milan’s history, surpassing Rafael Leao, who joined from Lille for 50 million euros in 2019.

From the Parisian club’s perspective, this operation is also remarkably significant. Only Neymar, who was transferred to Saudi club Al-Hilal in 2023 for 90 million euros, has generated a higher sum for the capital club. During his tenure with PSG, Gonçalo Ramos featured in a total of 131 matches across all competitions, contributing 45 goals and nine assists.
