With Gonçalo Ramos’s departure to AC Milan officially announced on Tuesday, more exits are expected from Paris Saint-Germain. Having spent time on loan at Reims and later Braga, Gabriel Moscardo has caught the attention of Espanyol Barcelona. Spanish media have confirmed the interest, with strong indications the move will go through.

It is now official: PSG confirmed their first summer transfer on Tuesday. Arriving three years ago from Benfica Lisbon, 25-year-old Gonçalo Ramos has moved to AC Milan in a deal worth approximately €70 million. Others are set to follow, including Randal Kolo Muani (27), who is nearing a switch to Juventus, and Kang-in Lee (25), expected to join Atlético Madrid.
Moscardo heading to Espanyol Barcelona on loan
Gabriel Moscardo could also leave PSG shortly. Signed for €20 million in January 2024, the 20-year-old midfielder spent the 2024-2025 season on loan at Stade de Reims, followed by a stint at Braga last season. Under contract until June 2028, Spanish reports now indicate a loan move to Espanyol Barcelona is highly probable, with sources close to the situation stating the operation is very likely to succeed.
“I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain”
Back in April, Gabriel Moscardo expressed his desire to return to PSG, where he has yet to play an official match: “We haven’t discussed next season yet. My agent, together with PSG’s management, will decide what’s best for me. We’ll talk again once the season is over. Of course, I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, to do pre-season training there, because that’s where I belong and where I should be. I’m getting more playing time. I’m progressing well, and I think this year at Braga was very important; it gave me experience for the challenges ahead. And God willing, one day I will play a full season at Paris Saint-Germain and prove I am capable.”
