Shock and sorrow gripped the Anguissa district of Yaoundé this Sunday, June 28. Young Sylvana, aged ten, tragically lost her life after being savagely stabbed by a 22-year-old woman. The alleged assailant claimed to have acted under the influence of the Holy Spirit. This horrific incident unfolded overnight while Sylvana’s parents were absent from the home.

The child, Sylvana, succumbed to her injuries after receiving multiple knife wounds inflicted by her attacker. Law enforcement apprehended the suspected murderer on June 28, 2026, at a place of worship.
