Just days after a dominant defeat against Australia, Turkey suffered another narrow loss, this time 0-1 to Paraguay. The Turkish side conceded an early goal and, despite playing with a man advantage for the entire second half, were unable to find an equaliser. The result eliminates Turkey from the 2026 World Cup.
