A fierce verbal confrontation has erupted between Waly Diouf Bodian and Madiambal Diagne, intensifying after a contentious piece published by Diagne concerning Ousmane Sonko. Bodian, in a scathing rebuke, has accused the seasoned journalist of chronic fabrication, signaling a deepening of the ongoing media influence battle within Senegal.

The verbal sparring between Waly Diouf Bodian and Madiambal Diagne has escalated significantly.
Responding to a recent piece authored by Madiambal Diagne concerning Ousmane Sonko, the Director of the Autonomous Port of Dakar expressed his strong disapproval without reservation.
In a particularly sharp condemnation, Waly Diouf Bodian leveled accusations against the journalist, alleging the dissemination of misinformation and the fabrication of fictitious narratives.
“Madiambal, a master fabulist, has once again concocted a tale in a manner only he seems capable of,” Bodian asserted.
Continuing his critical remarks, he further stated: “This purveyor of falsehoods possesses a truly diabolical knack for spreading absurdities. He would undoubtedly excel as a screenwriter for fantasy films.”
This latest verbal volley further fuels the persistent friction between certain government figures and the journalist, Madiambal Diagne, who remains a prominent and influential voice in Senegalese public discourse.
