Abidjan, 24 July 2026 — Yopougon’s deputy mayor, Adama Bictogo, is set to launch an extensive political tour this Saturday, 25 July 2026, engaging grassroots supporters of four political parties within his constituency. This initiative aligns with preparations for the 66th anniversary of Côte d’Ivoire’s independence, slated for 7 August in this bustling Abidjan commune.
In a press release issued by his office on Friday, Bictogo announced visits to militants from the Congrès panafricain pour la justice et l’égalité des peuples (COJEP), the Parti démocratique de Côte d’Ivoire-Rassemblement démocratique africain (PDCI-RDA), the Rassemblement des houphouëtistes pour la démocratie et la paix (RHDP), and the Front populaire ivoirien (FPI).

The tour will kick off at 11:00 AM with a meeting at Kouté for COJEP supporters, followed by a 3:00 PM gathering with PDCI-RDA militants in Sicogi Vegas. Next, Bictogo will head to the RHDP headquarters at 4:00 PM before concluding the day at 5:00 PM in Maroc Kimi with a discussion with FPI members.
