Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno arrived back in N’Djamena late last evening, wrapping up a formal visit to the United Arab Emirates. During his trip, the Head of State engaged in two extensive meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan—first at the Presidential Palace and later at his own residence.

Upon touchdown in N’Djamena, the President was greeted by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, key cabinet members, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Personal Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
