Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno arrived back in N’Djamena late Wednesday evening, concluding a diplomatic mission to the United Arab Emirates. The visit underscored ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Chad and the Gulf nation.

During the two-day official visit, President Déby held two separate meetings with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the UAE Presidential Palace, while the second occurred at the Chadian leader’s residence.

Upon landing at N’Djamena International Airport, the President was greeted by a high-profile delegation including Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several cabinet ministers, the Presidential Secretary-General, the Private Chief of Staff, Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
