Chad strengthens diplomatic security with 12 new attachés
The Government of Chad has taken a decisive step to bolster security within its diplomatic missions abroad by appointing twelve new security attachés. This move, formalized through Decree N°1016/PR/PM/MAEIATE/2026 dated May 22, 2026, underscores the country’s commitment to protecting its interests and personnel in key international locations.
The newly appointed attachés will serve in Chad’s diplomatic outposts across four continents, including critical hubs such as Paris, Geneva, New York, and Pretoria. Below is the full list of appointees and their designated posts:
