A devastating road collision unfolded this Thursday at the Koundoul exit, a town on the outskirts of N’Djamena. A heavy-duty truck violently struck a motorcyclist, killing him instantly in a horrific accident.
The force of the impact sent both the rider and his motorcycle sprawling across the roadway. At the time of the crash, the motorcyclist was carrying a fuel canister. Upon hitting the ground, the canister ruptured, igniting a sudden blaze that consumed the bike and the rider’s body before emergency services could arrive.
Police officers promptly secured the scene and launched an investigation to determine the precise circumstances of the tragedy. Authorities have yet to release the victim’s identity.
