Khady Diène Gaye fiercely refutes Abdourahmane Diouf over Ousmane Sonko debt claims

Khady Diène Gaye se défoule sur Abdourahmane Diouf : « Ce sont des mensonges grotesques »

A direct clash over debt restructuring claims

Khady Diène Gaye has launched a scathing attack against Abdourahmane Diouf, strongly refuting his recent assertions regarding Ousmane Sonko and a potential debt restructuring plan. The former Sports Minister, who previously served in the cabinet alongside Diouf, expressed utter bewilderment at the claims that the former Prime Minister and current head of the National Assembly had given his consent to such a financial strategy.

Accusations of deception and political failure

The Pastef official did not hold back in her criticism, describing the minister’s remarks as outright fabrications. “Dramane has failed everywhere! Now, he resorts to grotesque lies,” she stated sharply. She explained that she was deeply shocked to hear him attribute an agreement on debt restructuring to Ousmane Sonko, calling the claim completely baseless.

Personal attacks and a call for mobilization

Beyond addressing the policy dispute, Khady Diène Gaye targeted Abdourahmane Diouf’s professional track record. She alleged that he had tried various paths and failed repeatedly to establish himself upon returning to the country, specifically pointing to an unsuccessful bid to pass the bar exam around 2007-2008.

Furthermore, she accused the minister of pursuing politics out of pure self-interest rather than a desire to serve the public. Despite the intense criticism, Khady Diène Gaye concluded her address by urging Pastef supporters and all patriots to remain dedicated to the party’s vision of building a sovereign, prosperous, and fair Sénégal.
