The judge cited the absence of Chérif Zeyni Abidin Sy, described as Tandian’s alleged accomplice, as the reason for the postponement. His presence is deemed essential before the court can deliver a final decision. The delay comes as Tandian’s defense team intensified efforts to secure her provisional release.
