The Malian authorities have unveiled a financial incentive ranging from 500 million to 2 billion West African CFA francs for credible and actionable intelligence that could lead to the arrest or neutralization of seven individuals sought for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities.
This initiative was formally announced in an official statement signed by the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, General Daoud Aly Mohammedine. The government emphasized that the move is part of a broader strategy to intensify counterterrorism efforts and safeguard national security.
The individuals listed are suspected of playing key roles in planning, organizing, or executing attacks that have endangered both civilian lives and property across Mali.
The seven fugitives include:
- Iyad Ag Ghali, also known as Abou Al-Fadel;
- Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré, widely recognized as Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô;
- Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo, alias Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi;
- Alghabass Ag Intalla;
- Sedan Ag Hita, who operates under aliases such as Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, and Al Qayrawani;
- Bilal Ag Acherif;
- Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi.
In the official communiqué, the government stressed that these suspects are the subject of active manhunts by security forces due to their alleged participation in multiple terrorist operations across Mali.
The authorities have called on the public to remain vigilant and collaborate closely with defense and security personnel. They urge anyone with information that could aid in locating or apprehending these individuals to come forward and share it with the appropriate authorities.
This announcement follows ongoing military operations targeting armed terrorist groups in several regions of the country.
