The political figure Ndiaga Seck, aged 51, has made a decisive statement during his hearings, clarifying his private life in relation to Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko. Speaking in Wolof, he declared, « Xamul woon li may dund » (« He knew nothing about my personal life »).
His remarks confirm that Sonko had no awareness of his sexual orientation or private practices. The case, which originated at the Linguère urban police station, is now proceeding under a detention order at the Louga investigation office.
Seck was formally charged and placed in custody this week by the investigating judge at the Louga High Court, following his transfer from the Linguère urban police station for alleged « unnatural acts. »
