Niamey, June 4, 2026 — The Prytanée Militaire de Niamey (PMN) shone a spotlight on its brightest students during a prestigious awards ceremony marking the close of the 2025-2026 academic year. Held under the patronage of Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Salaou Barmou, the event celebrated the outstanding academic achievements of the school’s children of troops.
The ceremony honored students who topped their classes from sixth grade through to twelfth grade. The top performer in the lower secondary cycle achieved an impressive 18.55 out of 20, while the highest achiever in the upper secondary cycle secured a remarkable 17.44 out of 20.
