This summer, Paris Saint-Germain is actively seeking to bolster its attacking options, and Crysencio Summerville has emerged as a prominent candidate for the capital club. The talented winger, who recently impressed on the global stage with the Netherlands at the World Cup, could potentially be acquired by Paris for a lower sum than initially anticipated. This favorable shift in valuation is directly attributed to West Ham’s recent relegation, causing the asking price for his departure from the Hammers to decrease significantly.
Currently, PSG’s summer transfer window has yet to see any major acquisitions. While the Parisian outfit has not yet opened its wallet for new players, it has successfully finalized a significant sale. After three seasons in Paris, striker Gonçalo Ramos opted for a new challenge, completing a move to AC Milan. Reports indicate that the Italian club reportedly paid a substantial sum of €80M, including bonuses, to secure the Portuguese forward’s services.
summerville’s valuation takes a dive
The departure of Gonçalo Ramos underscores the imperative for PSG to strengthen its offensive lineup, and Crysencio Summerville remains a key figure on their radar. The Dutch winger is fresh off an impressive showing at the World Cup and is reportedly looking to move on from West Ham following the Hammers’ relegation. Crucially, this demotion has led to a significant reduction in the asking price for the right-sided attacker. Previously, a transfer for the 24-year-old was reportedly valued at around €82M, but sources now suggest it could be secured for as little as €47M. This presents an undeniable golden opportunity for the Parisian management to capitalize on.
premier league interest intensifies for summerville
At this moment, PSG has not yet formalized its interest in Crysencio Summerville with a concrete offer. The club would be wise to act swiftly if they intend to secure the Dutch talent, as he is attracting considerable attention from numerous prominent Premier League teams. Reports indicate that Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea, Fulham, Aston Villa, and Newcastle are all reportedly keen on acquiring the dynamic forward. The race to sign him promises to be competitive, leaving it to be seen which club will ultimately secure this highly sought-after player.
