Pastéf concludes extensive jolof tour, inaugurates linguère headquarters

PASTEF-Les Patriotes has successfully wrapped up an impactful 48-hour political outreach across the Jolof region. Key delegations, spearheaded by party leader Ousmane Sonko and accompanied by Minister of State Habib Sy, along with numerous national officials and coalition allies, traversed all 19 communes of the Linguère department, from Dahra to Barkédji, including Sagatta and Yang-Yang.

This deep dive into the heart of Jolof showcased the party’s robust local presence and organizational strength. The agenda featured cordial meetings and dialogues with the region’s esteemed religious and customary leaders, alongside crucial strategic workshops involving the party’s grassroots structures, encompassing youth, women, and executive members.

A Territorial network solidified and departmental headquarters unveiled

Following this significant mobilization, the party’s local branches officially presented their strategic roadmap for the upcoming period. A pivotal moment during this journey was the inauguration of PASTEF’s new departmental headquarters, which also marked the official launch of the member card placement campaign. The primary objective is to intensify local outreach efforts in the department’s villages and neighborhoods, thereby strengthening the party’s territorial footprint.

A Call for unity

In conjunction with these internal restructuring efforts, local political leaders issued a strong call for unity. This appeal extends not only to long-standing militants and sympathizers but also broadly invites political figures from other affiliations who are interested in collaborating on the party’s vision for regional development.
