The future of social media in Gabon took center stage at a major international digital regulation summit. From June 1 to 3, 2026, Germain Ngoyo Moussavou, President of the High Authority for Communication (HAC), participated in the Abidjan 2 conference in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Organized by the African Communication Regulators Network (RIARC) and the Francophone Media Regulators Network (REFRAM), the event brought together regulators, digital experts, and global platform representatives to address AI governance, content moderation, and communication freedom.
