The Parti des 7 Merveilles du Peuple Gabonais (7MP) and the Mouvement Oligui Nguema 100% (MON 100%) convened a press conference on Friday at Cité Damas to present the outcomes of their extensive national tour. This mission, conducted from June 4 to June 25, 2026, traversed all nine provinces of Gabon. Leaders from both organizations used this platform to reflect on key insights gained and outline their future strategic directions.
Under the leadership of Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma, who serves as both the founding president of 7MP and president of MON 100%, the delegation actively engaged with local populations, party activists, and community leaders. The primary goals were to gather citizen concerns and to assess the nation’s social and political climate following the 2025 presidential election.
Joël Ngoueneni Ndzengouma emphasized that the tour also played a vital role in strengthening the internal structures of both movements. “Since June 4, 2026, the 7MP and the MON 100% Movement have combined their efforts to sustain the momentum initiated on February 8, 2025,” he affirmed.
During their numerous stops, discussions focused on various pressing issues voiced by the populace. These included critical matters such as youth employment, access to potable water, the condition of roadways, healthcare services, educational opportunities, and the ever-rising cost of living. “We traveled across the country to meet our fellow citizens, to listen to their voices, and to grasp the realities on the ground,” Ngoueneni Ndzengouma explained.

The leadership of both organizations also announced significant progress in reorganizing their provincial coordinations, updating membership rosters, and welcoming new adherents. “This mission enabled us to identify new local leaders, solidify MON 100%’s establishment across all nine provinces, and secure 1,000 new membership applications,” the movement’s president highlighted.
The press conference drew a notable attendance of political figures, including Angélique Ngoma, the Secretary General of the Parti Démocratique Gabonais (PDG), and Gervais Oniane, President of the Union pour la République (UPR).
Addressing the assembly, Gervais Oniane urged political parties to prioritize dialogue and collaborative consultation. “It is imperative for political parties to engage in collective action, fostering a spirit of unity and responsibility, to effectively support the nation’s profound transformations,” he declared.
Concluding the meeting, 7MP and MON 100% officials proposed the establishment of a dedicated platform for dialogue. This platform would bring together political parties that endorse the initiatives of President of the Republic, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. They believe such a framework would significantly enhance coordination among the various political entities.
