Moussa Kaka disappearance: Niger under scrutiny as calls for answers grow louder
In Niger, journalist Moussa Kaka has been missing since 31 August. Senegalese human rights expert Alioune Tine has condemned what he calls “the total indifference of the African and international community” to this “forced disappearance.” He is calling for mobilisation of African public opinion and the organisations that represent it. Founder of Afrikajom, a think tank on democracy and security in Africa, Alioune Tine spoke about the case.
