Alliance and stability with Bahrain
During his meeting with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, discussions centered on coordinating efforts to ensure peace and stability in the Arab world.
The two diplomats reviewed the evolution of the deep historical ties between Rabat and Manama, exploring new paths for collaboration in areas of mutual interest according to the guidelines set by Morocco’s foreign ministry.
Attending the working session were Morocco’s ambassador to Jordan, Fouad Akhrif, the kingdom’s permanent representative to the Arab League, Mohamed Aït Ouali, and the director of Maghreb affairs at the ministry, Khalid Bencheikh.
Next joint commission with Jordan
Additionally, Mr. Bourita held talks with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi. The core focus was preparing the sixth session of the Morocco-Jordan Joint High Commission, coordinated by Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and scheduled for later this year. Both ministers agreed on the need for an ambitious agenda to elevate the bilateral relationship to a higher strategic level.
With both Jordan and Bahrain, the Moroccan representative shared the view that it is urgent to strengthen political consultation mechanisms to address the current complex geopolitical landscape.

These bilateral meetings took place after Bourita’s participation in the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers and the sessions of the 165th ordinary period of the Arab League Council, consolidating Morocco’s active role in multilateral regional dialogue.
